(Happy) New Year...Now What?

 Happy New Year!  

.... What?  It's already February and I'm just now getting around to wishing you a happy new year  

I'm a little late with my well-wishing, but perhaps my timing is better than you think.  After all, the Chinese New Year begins on February 14^th!

Not only do we have the opportunity to shower our beloved with amore’, but perhaps we can offer ourselves another look at our goals and desires for 2010.

This “Year of the Tiger” offers the theme of courage, power, passion and royalty.  It symbolizes “Yin” - the feminine aspect, and it also represents earth. 

Keeping all those qualities in mind, how can we utilize them to enrich our lives and the lives of our fellow companions? 

It takes courage to make a goal and then work toward it.  Power and passion give our goal life and once it’s achieved, the feelings of royalty in its accomplishment are sweet.  It’s important to remember though, that goals are achieved and sustained through the feminine aspect (Yin) of nurturance and by taking one step at a time, firmly “earthing” ourselves in each present moment.

So, you see, this Year of the Tiger is a great year to manifest your dreams and goals.  There is no dream too big or too small.  Ask yourself in this moment, “What am I willing to do to make 2010 the best year of my life, day by day?”

All we have to do is remember our dear courageous and royal friend the Tiger.  Let his/her essence guide you this year to fully experience yourself as a powerful and grounded person who nurtures all aspects of your life.
